April 23, 2016

My interview on the Where Did the Road Go? radio show with Seriah Azkath on Saturday night, April 16, 2016 is now available for download or listening at the following links.

This interview was very enjoyable.  I talked about my book H. P. Lovecraft & the Black Magickal Tradition, of course, but also offered some insight into my quantum physics view of magickal theory & practice.  And I was able to discuss my early paranormal experience in a terribly dark room in a cottage at Lake Thirteen, in Claire, Michigan and, somewhat later, a UFO experience that I had in the same part of the country.

I will be holding a book signing at the Barnes & Noble bookstore in Cleveland, Ohio on Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 1:00 PM- 5:00 PM.This bookstore is located on the beautiful campus of Case Western Reserve University, 11451 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH.

The university has a large Lovecraft following and this event should be a lot of fun.  I hope all of you in the Cleveland area will stop by to say hello and pick up a signed copy of my book.

In addition, I am going to be a guest on the Dark Sun Rising Radio Show on Monday night, May 16, 2016, from 10:00 PM - 11:00 PM ET. Dark Sun Rising airs every Monday night at 10 PM on the Para-X-Radio Network.

The show is described as "tearing back" the veil of hype, misconception, misinformation and ignorance to examine the darker side of the paranormal world. The host, Erick Bee, has been a paranormal investigator since 1995 who began his radio career with The Hive show in 2010.

I will naturally be talking about my book and contingent issues.Information about the Dark Sun Rising Radio Show can be found at the following link.

Near the end of summer, I am going to be a guest speaker at the Pagan Pride Convention in Detroit, Michigan, August 13, 2016, where I will also hold a book signing event.

For the Pagan Pride Convention, I will be examining H. P. Lovecraft's connection with the Wiccan religion. In Chapter 7 of my book, I explore this connection, but due to space constraints, I was unable to give it fuller treatment.  My speech will remedy this situation.

My presentation is entitled: "H. P. Lovecraft's Goddess Shub-Niggurath: Redefining the Horned God Archetype of the Wiccans."

I have also been invited to be a guest speaker for two consecutive days at the well-known Carnival of Para-Horror Convention in Buffalo, New York on August 27 & 28, 2016; I will be signing books at this event as well.

My two part presentation at the Carnival of Para-Horror is entitled " H. P. Lovecraft's Cosmic Weird Tales & the American Cinema."

When we get closer to summer, I will post on this blog (and on Facebook & Twitter) more specific information- dates, times, locations, etc.- about the Pagan Pride Day & the Carnival of Para-Horror speaking engagements.

And finally, in early autumn, I will be holding another book signing event at the Georgia Tech Barnes & Noble college bookstore in Atlanta, Georgia on September 24, 2016 from 12:00 PM- 6:00 PM.

The Georgia Tech campus, like the Case Western Reserve campus, boasts a large Lovecraft following, so I am looking forward to this autumnal event; I hope to meet a wide variety of fans of horror & science fiction and hopefully, some of my dark friends and colleagues in the south who know me on Facebook & Twitter will stop by to pick up a copy of my book & say hello.
