Greetings Everyone!
What I like most about sci-fi literature is that it deals with a wider range of topics than conventional literature. In conventional literature, we find the usual (and to me, rather boring) themes: love, sex, relationships, etc.- the so-called proper topics for people to be interested in.But sci-fi literature encourages us to think about the
larger issues: what exactly is meant by “space”, “dimension” & “time”? ; what is the nature of
reality? ; what are alternate, daughter dimensions & parallel universes? ;
what is a “human being” & can humans transcend their own humanness?
H. P. Lovecraft, Isaac Asimov & William Gibson
have some fascinating theories about these subjects. Read about them in my new book!
